All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav'nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate'er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate'er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.
All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father's house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way.
Ezekiel 34:15 ~ "I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest," declares the Lord God.

Little brothers are so much fun! This photo of Jordan and Jonathan, which I took at Mom's suggestion, reminds me of
Psalm 119:103 ~ How sweet are Thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! May we all taste the sweetness of the word of God.

Thirteen years ago the Bulgarian-born master violinist and teacher Alexander Serafimov moved to the United States with his wife and son, to teach at a music school in New York. But soon thereafter, the music school closed, and he found himself stranded in a strange country without a source of income, speaking very little English, and with very few friends. Since he had friends in Austin, Texas, he moved his family here.
And we're so glad he did! We met him and began taking violin lessons from him during his first months here. Over the years, eight Malones have studied with him, benefitting from his tremendous skills. We have also assisted him in various ways, particularly at recital time, when we accompany his students on the piano and coordinate the reception, and I am program announcer. And even though no Malones have studied from him in this past semester, and thus were not performing in the recital, we continued our tradition of serving in these ways at both of his spring 2007 studio recitals, on May 24 and 31.
Mr. Serafimov, who became an American citizen three years ago, and currently teaches approximately 50 violin students, is pictured here with those students who performed in the May 31 recital.
Leviticus 19:33-34 ~ When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
